We were pleased to be designated in 2005 as the exclusive dairy supplier for the Beijing Olympics that has met the Olympic standards. On May 25, 2009, Yili became the exclusive dairy producer that has met the World Expo standards and supplied dairy products for the Shanghai World Expo. This is the greatest honor of the Chinese dairy industry and the indication of the steady and healthy development of the Chinese economy. It is also a result of the interests of and support from all social communities.
At the same time, we are also aware that the development of Chinese dairy industry is like a race that has no finish line. Even though Yili is now taking the lead, we will continue to keep a humble spirit. We want to be the runner who keeps running in the leading place and always having the smiles of champions. And this is our ultimate goal.

Therefore, Yili has always sought for “balance oriented while responsibilities prioritized in her development over the past 15 years, guided its growth by the company philosophy of “thickness ahead of speed, the industry’s prosperity ahead of individual success and social values ahead of financial profits”. With these principles in mind, Yili has left no record of any incident of food quality or security in its history, has provided hundreds of millions of consumers with 100% safe, healthy and quality products. This is Yili’s lifeline, should also be the responsibilities of each enterprise.

It is proven that our development strategy has been widely recognized and supported by all communities. In the latest Brand Value Ranking List, Yili Group, with brand value of RMB 20.545 billion Yuan, ranked the first place for the 6th time in Chinese dairy industry. The success is inseparable from the support of each of you. The success also shows that Yili brand is becoming a beloved brand in the heart of our consumers.

But more than this, Yili understands that the vitality of the enterprise fully depends on whether or not it has chosen a sustainable path. And the sustainable brand development are implementing the right philosophy and adopting the right strategy.

At the 2007 World Economic Forum, we proposed the concept of Green Leadership. It won the unanimous recognition of all the participants. It was written in the agenda at the Boao Forum for Asia Annual Conference 2008. The invaluable experience of Yili on Green Leadership is the result of its continuous effort on sustainable development . Since then, the Chinese enterprises, in particular the Chinese dairy industry, have grabbed the attention of the world. We hope our efforts will make the label of ‘Made in China’ the synonym of trust and reliability accepted and recognized by the entire world.
