General Statement

Yili commits to conducting legal, decent, honest, genuine, and credible marketing activities. We have established a multidimensional communication language review mechanism to regulate promotional content, ensuring that Yili's marketing activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and standards of responsible marketing, thereby helping consumers make rational purchasing decisions based on their own will.

Scope of Application

This policy applies to Yili Group, its subsidiaries, and partners assisting Yili in marketing and promotion activities. It is applicable to Yili's marketing activities which include, but are not limited to, advertising, terminal marketing, marketing events, and other marketing communications activities.

Comply with laws and regulations
1.

We commit to ensuring that our marketing and sales activities, including their form and content, comply with Yili's internal policies and the relevant laws and regulations of the countries and regions in which we distribute.

We commit to complying with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards concerning restrictive marketing towards minors, ensuring their physical and mental health and safety are not harmed.

No unethical marketing, especially targeting minors

No advertisement to the market containing content harmful to the physical and mental health of minors. No use of advertising spokespeople underage of ten

No advertising activities take place within primary and secondary schools or kindergartens. No advertising content in books, stationery, uniforms, or school buses, except for public-service advertisements

Responsible Marketing Management Practices

Implement robust auditing systems for the marketing materials. All marketing materials should undergo a review by designated personnel from the business division to ensure the authenticity, legality, and reliability of the advertising content.

Comply with "Yili Group Technical Regulations and Management Compilation" for managing product labels and product claims. Ensure (1) the claims regarding the origin of raw materials are authentic and compliant, allowing consumers to clearly and accurately understand product information, and guide consumers in using the products safely and scientifically; (2) Ensure that the provided product information does not contain any descriptions or visual presentations that may lead to dangerous behaviors.

Comply with the "Yili Privacy Policy" to protect consumer privacy and security. Collect consumer data only when necessary, and inform consumers with respect to the purposes of data collection and protect the data per legal requirements.

The "Technical Regulations and Product Safety Information Service System Platform" should be applied to scan and monitor national and international regulation on a regular basis, ensuring compliance with product labeling and tagging for products on the market.

Cooperate with third-party certification organizations to test and certify the production technology, nutritional components, product functionality, and other information related to product labeling, sales, marketing, and advertising, ensuring the consistency and authenticity of the product and the communicated information.

Regularly conduct responsible marketing audits to self-assess non-compliance issues in accordance with the Yili Responsible Marketing Policy, correct non-compliance issues identified during the audit process, and ensure the effective implementation of policy.

Nutrition Advocacy for Children
Pediatric Nutrition

Yili focuses on pediatric nutrition and has been conducting research for over 10 years. Through analysis of trends and current status of pediatric nutrition, nutritional needs for child growth and development, the role of dairy products in children's diets, the status of nutritional enhancement in dairy products, and formulas for improving child nutrition through dairy intake, Yili has proposed eight consensus views on child nutrition.

Promoting a balanced diet for children to support their growth, development and to maintain their health throughout the life.

Focusing on and address overweight obesity and micronutrient deficiencies.

Promoting healthy lifestyles for children by encouraging they drink the appropriate amount of milk and diversify their diets.

Recognizing the contribution of dairy products in children's growth and development.

Improving the inadequate dairy intake of our children and improving the overall dairy consumption.

Increasing understanding of milk protein allergy and lactose intolerance in children, and providing guidance on suitable product selection.

Preventing and improving micronutrient deficiencies in children and raising the awareness that dairy is an important vehicle for nutritional fortification.

Through cross-sectoral collaboration and policy coordination, create a favorable environment and support children's dairy consumption.

Products Quality

In order to develop better products for children, Yili has implemented highest standard of product formulations, manufacturing process, product labelling, and restricted the amount of sugar and artificial additives added in children's products. This is to guarantee the access of healthier and better-quality products for children.

Employee Training on Responsible Marketing

We regularly organize training seminars for employees in responsible marketing, advertising, and intellectual property protection.

Revision and Review

1. This policy will be subject to regular review to ensure that it is consistent with business practices and its implementation effectiveness. 2. Any matters not covered by the policy shall be implemented in accordance with relevant laws, regulations and standards. 3. The policy will be effective from the date of issue.
